Marketing Plan
The marketing plan consisted of:
Three weeks out:
-Using social media outlets (Facebook) to create a DSUG Event page
-Sent out a postcard in direct mail to our target market of undergraduate students who attend Grand Valley
Two weeks out:
-Placed table tents on tables on the bottom floor in Kirkhof
-Created an event on Grand Valley's homepage
One week out:
-Wrote the event information on whiteboards in classrooms at Grand Valley
-Placed informational flyers on the Allendale and Grand Rapids campus
-Students did a dorm storm and placed informational flyers throughout the dorms
Day of event:
-Handed out flyers on the main floor of Kirkhof
-Word of mouth about the DSUG Event
